How extra slots run more than one 24/7 YouTube live at once
This page is extra slots: more than one live at the same time. Each plan includes one live streaming slot. A second live is a second slot — its own file, its own stream key, and its own cloud server. It is not the numbered start, not a stream-key walkthrough, and not looping one MP4 on a single broadcast. The clicks for one live are how to stream pre-recorded video as YouTube live. The use-case overview is 24/7 YouTube live.

What an extra slot is
A slot is one live at a time. India-first plans list one live streaming slot. When that slot is running, viewers join that one broadcast. An extra slot is another simultaneous live — not a second loop inside the first one.
Extra slots can go to the same YouTube channel or to different destinations. Each extra YouTube live needs its own stream key. Paste each key only into that slot. Studio clicks to copy a key are on how to find your YouTube stream key.
Where extra lives actually run
StreamAdda uses a dedicated cloud server with its own IP for each stream. After you start the slots, close the browser. Shut the lid. You do not need a more powerful computer to run two lives at once. You are not leaving two encoding windows open on a desk PC.
That is the same computer-off job as one slot, counted twice. The comparison against leaving OBS on a PC is on 24/7 YouTube live vs OBS.
Extra slots are not a loop
When one MP4 ends, that same slot can play it again. That repeat is still one live. How that loop works is on how to loop a video as YouTube live.
Two files, two keys, two slots is two lives. You can swap the MP4 in a slot later without turning that slot into a second broadcast. You do not need a webcam or a studio for these broadcasts.
After you understand extra slots
Extra slots do not start by themselves. For each live: upload the MP4, paste that live's key, start the slot, and confirm it on the destination. Those steps stay on how to stream pre-recorded video as YouTube live.

Extra slots FAQ
- What is an extra live slot?
- Each StreamAdda plan includes one live streaming slot. That slot is one live at a time. An extra slot is another simultaneous live: its own file, its own stream key, and its own cloud server.
- Can I run more than one 24/7 YouTube live at the same time?
- Yes. Extra StreamAdda slots run at the same time. They can go to the same YouTube channel or to different destinations. Looping one MP4 is still one live — that is a different page.
- Does each extra live need its own stream key?
- Yes. Paste each YouTube stream key only into that slot. Do not reuse one key across two slots. Studio clicks to copy a key are on the stream-key page.
- Do I need a more powerful computer for extra slots?
- No. StreamAdda uses a dedicated cloud server for each stream. After you start the slots, closing the browser or shutting the lid does not stop them. You are not encoding two OBS windows on a desk PC.
- How do I start a second 24/7 live?
- Add an extra slot, upload the MP4 for that live, paste that live's stream key, and click start. The numbered clicks for one live are on the how-to page. This page is only what extra slots are.
